Yesterday I had a very lovely time at the Greater Bay Area Costumer’s Guild Tissot Bustle Picnic, held at Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont, CA.
I wore my dress with a pouch made from matching fabric, a parasol from Angelic Pretty, and a top hat made by Triple Fortune. I ran out of time to make a matching bonnet, but I have the black straw base started at least!
From the front you can start to see a bit of my baby bump. =)
There were many beautiful outfits at the picnic. (Click on the link to view lots of ruffles and colors!)
There were lots of people wearing blue.
Did you spot the twins? (They actually aren’t related).
A number of ladies wore pastels.
Including Kim and her beau.
And this pair of charming dresses.
I was part of the group of prints.
And there were striped ladies.
As part of the picnic we took a tour of the Patterson House. Here’s Natalie in front of the mansion.
A group of us were wearing Tavistock boots from American Duchess and felt naughty!
Of course, who could forget the gentlemen?
The rest of the photos, including those taken inside Patterson House, are located at my Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/vivien_misc/sets/72157634297283288/
Your dress is gorgeous! I have a black flowery toile that I have been searching forever to use… This would be fabulous!
Thanks Mandy! I would love to see your toile dress when it is done!
